Your hosts Liz & Dexter welcome you into their lovingly renovated Victorian townhouse home.

 Located in the heart of central Hove — five minutes from the seafront — our inspired ensuite guest rooms boast quality, comfort and originality.  Situated on the third floor of our Victorian townhouse both the Garden Room and the Mulberry Room are stylishly decorated and thoughtfully designed to ensure you have a restful stay. 

Previously an award-winning bed and breakfast The Art House Hove is now ideal for the independent traveller.  With key safe check-in and a kitchenette located next to the guest rooms you can comfortably make your own breakfast or light meal.

Your artist host Liz Tiranti has her Inspired Mosaics Studio in the garden. Take advantage of a studio visit during your stay OR consider a mosaic retreat package with Liz

Hove has so much to offer and we are close to it all. The seafront with vibrant cafe’s and Hove Lagoon watersport facilities.  Fabulous award winning restaurants. The Sussex County Cricket Ground, Float Spa for pampering ,The Old Market for live music just to name a few. And easy access to Brighton for the I360 and The Lanes - walking along the seafront, a quick bus ride or pick up a Beryl Brighton Bike. All a stones throw from The Art House Hove.

    The Garden Room and the Mulberry Room — with king-sized beds OR two singles — are situated on the top floor of our three-story townhouse in central Hove. Prices start at £80 per night - minimum two nights stay- all EXCLUDING breakfast.

    The Art House is just five minutes from the sea and two minutes from the bustling main road of central Hove packed with cafe’s, restaurants and bars. Regular buses in to Brighton take 10 minutes or a leisurely 20 minute walk along the seafront.

    ‘Value for money’…
    Loved our stay here! The home is beautiful and artistically decorated and the Garden Room has a lovely view of the church and garden. Liz was helpful and flexible about checkout. Value for money is great. I would definitely come back

    ‘Beautiful home’…
    From arrival Liz was there to meet us help carry luggage, provided milk tea coffee etc. Very informative guide manual in the room, which gave so much info. Linen was great, bed was comfortable, bathroom spacious and lovely and clean. Kitchen area had everything needed for a 3 course meal!!!

    ‘Luxurious bathroom’…
    Lovely time at The Art House. It was just what we were looking for. We were welcomed by Liz and delighted with the room & luxurious bathroom which was very reasonably priced. The house is decorated with Liz’s mosaics made in the garden studio that our room looked onto. Would highly recommend.

    ‘The Best Airbnb we have ever stayed in’…
    Wow! This is a fantastic place to stay. Ticks all the boxes. Very welcoming , spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, very comfortable beds, everything you could think you need for your stay. Quiet, easy access to the local transport, restaurants and great cafes for breakfast before you stroll along the promenade or take a dip in the sea. The artwork and decoration in the house and our rooms was stunning especially Liz’s mosaics.

    ‘Welcoming hosts’…
    Liz and Dexter are very welcoming hosts, they make you feel like home. We had good times with them, chatting on places, food and art.

    Their house is beautiful and comfortable, very clean and tidy. Inside the room, furnished with many artistic details, you can find anything you need.

    We strongly recommend this place in the centre of Hove.

    ‘Great location’…
    Great place and great location, with everything of a high standard - from shower gel and shampoo to linen, bedding, size of room, cleanliness, lovely art. Liz and her husband were informative, friendly and helpful. Will definitely be our go to place to stay next time.

    ‘Light and calm’…
    We very much enjoyed our stay in Liz and Dexters home. Their home is filled with light and calm and after a busy day walking around Brighton we sank with pleasure into our cosy beds. Hove is a pleasant stroll along the promenade from the hurly burly of Brighton and I highly recommend this as a place to stay and enjoy.

    ‘Hidden Gem’…
    We stayed with Liz and Dexter before at the Art House and was thrilled that it was even better than we remembered. Our friends who came with us this time loved the individuality of the place, the location in Hove and the proximity of all the best pubs and bars. And the quiet neighbourhood is only a twenty minute walk into the craziness of Brighton. Liz and Dexter have created something special and as hosts they are friendly, fun and happy to give out recommendations, or happy to let you just get on & explore for yourselves. It's a lovely little hidden gem.
